ABOUT

       I am a contemporary artist, whose practice explores the subtle relationships between nature, light, sound, memory, and perception. My paintings do not seek to describe nature; rather, they emerge from a process of observing its quiet rhythms and the invisible connections that shape our experience of the world.

Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, I build each painting through layers, allowing texture, light, and time to become active participants in the work. I am interested in what remains after representation—the spaces between presence and absence, movement and stillness, the seen and the unseen. Every layer is both an act of discovery and a record of contemplation.

Music has always been an essential part of my creative process. As a trained musician, I experience painting through rhythm as much as through colour. Water, stone, and sound continue to form the foundation of my visual language, while my ongoing study of Indian philosophy and Japanese aesthetics has gradually deepened the way I perceive nature. Rather than illustrating these ideas, I allow them to quietly inform my process, encouraging restraint, silence, and attentive observation.

Over time, my practice has become less about creating an image and more about creating an experience. I believe that not everything needs to be revealed. What is left unresolved often carries the greatest presence, allowing each viewer to bring their own memories, emotions, and interpretations to the work.

 I do not seek to explain nature. I hope each painting becomes a place where viewers can pause, observe, and discover their own meaning. Through every body of work, I continue to explore how painting can become a space for reflection, where material, light, and time exist in harmony. effects an ongoing search for harmony between the external landscape and the inner self.
